Christmas-time is all about lucky lucky joy joy. But I don’t fell all that cheery. Darkness and stress. I rather take pictures of places like this than do x-mas shopping. Enjoy. Clickable image.

The corner of Manhattan Ave and Norman. The Manhattan 3-Decker Restaurant. Been there forever, and still is. Seen through the barber-shop window in “Donnie Brasco”. 4×5″ slide.

This was back in the day when I lived at Lasalle Street, New York City. The image is from approx. October 1996. Back in those days we used film and had to develop the images and then print them in the darkroom! Imagine that, kids! 😉 And … Oh yeah! Clickable image!

Mobile cameras are getting better and better as we speak. Is that à good thing or not? Bad mobile cameras are a bit like Holgas or disposable cameras that are popular for artsy shots. Me myself like to mess around with blurry shots myself. I think it is what you make of it that counts! Good photography is less equipment and correct technique but rather seeing the image. On the other hand; bad images doesn’t become great images because they are from a Holga. 😉

Note: This post was first made from my iPhone but it seems like WP for iPhone is not fully functional as images only showed up as links imbedded in text.

This house will probably soon be torn down after the plot it is on has been sold to a new owner, wanting to build something new there. A look through the window revealed people lived there until recently. And seems to have done so for quite some time. Soon it will be over. Memories gone. Out with the old. In with the new. Never ending cycle it seems… Clickable picture!

Planket is a open air photo-exhibition where anyone who pays the application-fee in time can hang their stuff in. Every participant has 1 meter to their disposal and as long as you don’t block out your neighbouring participants you can arrange that meter pretty much as you like. I took a walk with my camera along the whole exhibition. A bit shaky at some parts, but I don’t own a SteadyCam-rig so I did the best I could. 🙂 Enjoy!
