No real vacation without palms, right? This one is a bite lonely here. Roseto isn’t fashionable and maybe a bit dated in some places. But to me it is the best beach in Abruzzo. And the town is right on the beach, meaning everything is close. Perfect for lazy summer days.

Or what else could we say? Did a giant walk here? Looks like a very long step, from someone with very long legs. Just stepped out of his slippers. Or slipped out? More likely the slipped away in the tide though. And were washed ashore again. Now they are trash.

March 2013 in Rimini, the ol’ boys prepare for beach season by digging out the paved path from the beach-club to the sea. So their pals with less stable legs easier should make it to the sea I guess? 😉 But also so people can walk up from the beach without dragging so much sand with them. Civilized beach-life simply. And it made a nice picture. You have to dig it!

After Kerstin and I got married, we went to Lefkada, Greece to just chill. Lefkada had it’s ups and downs in it’s relation to us… the day this picture was taken was certainly an up-day! 🙂
